Citizen schools, inc. (csi) helps all students to thrive in school and beyond through hands-on learning and career mentors. citizen schools is a national nonprofit that works in school, after school and at the systems-level to provide hands-on learning and mentors from companies and community organizations. over the last 25 years, citizen schools has helped 50,000 underrepresented students build confidence, gain 21st century skills and develop interest in career pathways.

The children's investment fund's (cif) primary purpose is to improve the quality of and expand access to early learning and school-age child care programs for low and moderate-income families. in order to broaden the impact of its work cif also seeks to support affordable housing for low-income families through place-based two-generation and other strategies that result in safer, healthier and more stable environments in which to raise young children.

The center for public interest research is a non-partisan 501(c)(3) organization that conducts public interest research and litigation, and runs non-partisan civic engagement and public education programs around critical public interest issues. it also assists partner 501(c)(3) organizations engaged in similar activities through grants, by sponsoring joint or new public interest projects, and by providing training and other support in areas such as advocacy, organizing, campaign development and packaging, and grantseeking.
