The corporation shall support area office on aging of northwestern ohio, inc. ("aooa") by making grants to aooa and other charitable organizations in support of aooa's mission of development and implementation of a comprehensive and coordinated service delivery system for older adults residing in northwestern ohio.

To support and improve the toledo start high school sports program, recognize individual student athlete and team achievements, and participate in projects thatwill have a permanent impact on the sports programs. we will work with the athletic department and coaches to determine the needs of its student athletes and coaches an priortize those needs for funding expenditure according to specific funding criteria that the club deems equitable and appropriate.

The great lakes historical society is dedicated to the preservation of great lakes history. the organization operates the national museum of the great lakes and the clarence s. metcalf maritime research library.

In accordance with the provisions of item xvii of the last will and testament ("will") of ida marie dowling, the trustees created the coghlin memorial institute, a charitable non-profit corporation, whose purpose is to support and promote health care related programs, projects, and activities and comprehensive rehabilitation. the distribution by the trustees to the coghlin memorial institute is in furtherance of the stated purpose set forth in ms. dowling's will.

Organization raises funds which are used to build schools, daycare centers, medical clinics, award scholarships and provide funding for micro finance projects which will benefit the people in vietnam in some of the poorest areas of the country.

Provide mental health case management and substance abuse counseling to middle and high school students in the city of toledo and throughout northwest ohio. the organization will provide after-school counseling services and work in conjunction with the juvenile treatment court for lucas county, ohio to assist at-risk students in the city of toledo. the organization wil also offer tutoring services for students who struggle academically.

Regular observance of religious principles centered on submission to a higher power (god) to provide the members of the corporation who are recovering alcoholics and addicts

Support of the university of toledo athletic department and intercollegiate athletic teams

Provide certain services to downtown property owners within a special assessment district. these services include public spaces, supplemental security and hospitality, communications and marketing, business and residential development, and member services above and beyond those provided by the city of toledo.

To apply all or any part of its income or principal exclusively for charitable, scientific, literary or educational purposes with the object of fostering and maintaning the honor and integrity of the profession of the law.

Service to all physicians by preserving unity in the profession supporting professionalism and the independence of medical judgement, responding to the medical concerns of the community, and providing accurate and current medical information to the public, through promoting the excellence of medical care in toledo and lucas county.
