Jewish philanthropies of southern arizona (jpsa) is committed to achieving the full potential of jewish philanthropy, now and for future generations. comprised of jewish federation of southern arizona (jfsa or federation) and jewish community foundation (jcf), jpsa provides funding for critical needs in our community and around the world. jfsa is the primary fundraising and planning organization for the jewish community in southern arizona. the funds raised by jfsa's annual campaign support five beneficiary agencies - jewish family and children's services, tucson hebrew academy, tucson jewish community center, tucson jewish museum & holocaust center, and the university of arizona hillel foundation - as well as programs such as the weintraub israel center, pj library, and our jewish community security initiative. in addition to responding to current and future needs in our community, the federation also addresses critical, emergent needs world-wide through its partnership with the jewis

Arizona elks major projects, inc. (aemp) is an arizona nonprofit corporation located in tucson, arizona. aemp's mission is to raise funds for research and education for children in conjunction with the university of arizona's children's research center and other local youth activities. in addition, aemp maintains and operates a youth camp in gila county, arizona.

To provide services to the rural poor of the state of arizona thru a network of community based aides with supporting staff in tucson and charter schools for kindergarten thru grade 12.

Support and enhance library services and programs, and promote reading and literacy.

Annual support for national and arizona lions charities such as camp tatiyee (for disabled children), saavi, leader dogs for the blind, which provides day programs and vocational training for visually impaired. we deal directly with america's best for eye exams and glasses for poort, supporting asdb and other local elementary school, also alert recycle glasses to be sent to third world countries. additional services and entities which we support are camp abiliites, sight and hearing foundation, tucson society of the blind, vision screening, eyeglasses for needy, melvin jones memorial and volunteering at community food bank.

Tucson botanical gardens connects people with plants and nature through art, science, history and culture.

Sponsoring charitable, educational, scholarly, cultural, and artistic activities for the general public and providing active retirees with an intellectual setting to stimulate and foster creativity. its support organization, asc, provides healthcare services.
