Mission

The Idaho State Bar (ISB) is a self-governing state agency that oversees attorneys practicing law in Idaho. Established in the early 1920s and governed by commissioners elected from judicial districts, the ISB is responsible for licensure, professional conduct, and public resources related to the legal field. It operates independently without tax funding, relying on license fees and volunteer efforts to execute programs and services that promote justice and enhance professional conduct.
