The Newark Workforce Development Board (NWDB) is a government agency and 501c-3 non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the workforce system in Newark. By connecting education and job training services with the needs of local businesses, the NWDB aims to foster economic growth and job readiness in the community, under the guidance of Mayor Ras J. Baraka’s Office of Workforce Development.
